Gamers have the option to engage in combat on their private land or opt for neutral ground, vying for the ultimate reward.

The upcoming crypto tower defense game, Fortified, will be blockchain-enabled and play-to-earn. It’s anticipated to be the first-ever blockchain-powered, NFT-powered tower defense game that will hit the market. Excitement surrounds the game, as it will be available on the Gala Games platform, alongside other popular games like the farming simulator Townstar and the upcoming massive multiplayer online role-playing blockchain game, Mirandus.

All these games are free to play and are play-to-earn, adding another level of excitement for players. Fortified’s unique gameplay allows players to compete with each other in a medieval world by building their tower defense strategies using everything from basic arrows to arcane arts. Notably, players can compete on their land, neutral territory, or set their own terms of engagement. Player ownership of assets is crucial, but those without NFTs or land can still join and compete, potentially earning part of the prize pool. As the game approaches release, it will be interesting to see how the player community responds to its exciting gameplay mechanics.

Gala Games describes Fortified as an epic PvP tower defense game set in a fantastical medieval world. In-game, players will be able to compete with one another to build the best tower defense strategies using everything from basic arrows and archery to arcane arts. Compete with players on your own terms, on your own land, or meet on neutral territory to battle it out to see who will take home the prize. Player ownership of assets is an important part of each part of the game, but those without land or NFTs will still be able to join and compete, potentially earning part of the prize pool. In Fortified, you set the terms of your engagement, build out your tower network, and train your NFT-based troops to attack and defend.

So, the description of this game makes it sound very cool to us because not only is it a tower defense strategy game where you’re building the best defense strategies, but also you throw in real player ownership, real NFTs, and all of a sudden, there’s another level of realism, there are higher stakes for your rewards, and it just makes it a more engaging and fun experience. We know Gala Games can make incredible games, but this game seems like it’s even gonna have more than some previous tower defense games that you might have played, like Balloons Tower Defense, for example. But Fortified is then gonna be taking it to another level by having a medieval world which Fortified is going to exist in. But then the other side of this game, which is really interesting, is while Balloons Tower Defense, it’s all player versus environment, Fortified appears to be a player versus player game, which means that you may be defending yourself from and attacking other real players and competing for crypto rewards. So, that sounds really, really interesting to me, and we are am super, super excited about it.

If you didn’t know, not only is Gala Games creating these very cool blockchain-enabled next-generation games, but they’re also creating an entire decentralized server base which these games are going to run on. And they’re allowing the players to buy these server nodes and earn gallery wards in exchange for hosting these games. And Fortified is going to be the next game releasing on the Gala Games node ecosystem. And because of how the governance system is set up, node owners literally

In conclusion, Fortified is an exciting new tower defense game that is set to be released on the Gala Games platform. With its combination of blockchain technology, NFTs, and play-to-earn mechanics, it has the potential to be a highly engaging and rewarding experience for players. While it is still early days and there are risks involved in investing in NFTs for an unreleased game, the early signs for Fortified are promising. As more information becomes available and the game approaches release, it will be interesting to see how the player community responds to it.
