MonkeyLeague is a next-gen esports metaverse that brings together multiplayer gaming with Solana blockchain, decentralized finance and NFTs. The game is a turn-based, P2E soccer game that is easy to learn yet hard to master. MonkeyLeague players create their ultimate team of 4 Monkeys and compete against the other players or the environment in matches divided in twelve rounds.
Something that makes MonkeyLeague unique is the concept of asset portability, as players own the game assets, Stadiums and Monkeys, in the form of NFTs and the in-game currency as tokens ($MBS). The game incorporates multiple play-and-earn channels, and players can govern the treasury and game platform using a DAO governance token once it is implemented.
MonkeyLeague has three types of in-game NFTs and assets: Stadiums (Land), Monkeys (Players) and Spectators.
One of the most innovative aspects of MonkeLeague is its use of NFTs. The game has its own collection of unique NFTs that are used to represent players and teams. These NFTs can be traded, sold, and used in the game to gain advantages over other players. This means that owning rare NFTs can give players a significant advantage in the game.
Another unique feature of MonkeLeague is its focus on fantasy sports. The game allows players to build and manage their own fantasy teams made up of NFTs. Players can then enter these teams into competitions and tournaments to compete against other players for prizes.
The platform also offers a range of different games and modes, including tournaments, leagues, and single matches. Players can choose to compete in whichever mode they prefer, and the game offers a variety of different settings and rules to cater to different playstyles.
To ensure fairness and transparency in the game, MonkeLeague uses blockchain technology to record all transactions and gameplay. This means that every move, every trade, and every match result is recorded on the blockchain and cannot be altered. This provides a level of trust and security that traditional gaming platforms cannot match.
